Robert first visited Stanley, Idaho 5 years ago. The trip must have been pretty impactful because about 2 weeks later he quit his job and moved here! The pull of fly-fishing and The Salmon River was just too much to bear. You’ll love Robert’s contagious laugh, his knowledge of the sport and enthusiasm for guiding trips.

Don’t let his age fool you, Sam has been fly-fishing The Salmon River since he was knee-high to a grasshopper.  Following in his big brother’s footsteps, he first picked up a fly-rod when he was five and hasn’t looked back.  His youthful excitement and desire to learn has put him years ahead of others in his guiding career.

A Stanley, Idaho native Jason has been guiding and residing in the Sawtooth Valley for over 20 years.  Jason has great energy, a carefree outlook on life and is one fishy dude (in the best way possible!). Without question, he is the most knowledgeable guide in the Sawtooth Valley.
